DRAGON EBIKES COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY

This warranty applies to any breakage or failure resulting from a manufacturing defect, but is subject to exclusions detailed below.

You are responsible for returning your Dragon eBike or medical scooter to the Dragonebikes warehouse or your Dragonebikes Authorized Dealer. You will be responsible for any labor or shipping costs incurred. Alternatively, you may request warranty parts be shipped directly to you, see “Process for Replacements Parts” below. Our warranty program is subject to certain exclusions detailed below. In order to qualify for our full warranty you must purchase your Dragon eBike or medical scooter from an Authorized Dragonebikes Dealer and you must contact them for all support and replacement parts. We offer a One-Year Repair or Replacement to the original owner on all NEW eBikes and medical scooters unless otherwise specified on the original invoice. This warranty includes the Frame, Swing Arm Electrical and Mechanical – This coverage includes the main frame, bushings, swing arm, power train, controller, throttle, motor and switches. It does not cover labor, batteries, chargers and items described in the Warranty Exclusions Section below unless otherwise stated on original invoice. We also offer a 90-Day Batteries and Chargers: This warranty excludes failure due to improper installation, other faulty parts, abuse, off-road, undercharging or freezing.

Warranty Exclusions: DRAGONEBIKES warranty does not cover unauthorized modifications, repairs not made by a DRAGONEBIKES Reseller or Authorized Service Centre, broken plastic parts, flat tires if punctured, light bulbs, wear and tear, lack of maintenance, damage from accidents or collisions, misuse, abuse, neglect, damage incurred from floods, salt and other foreign debris or chemicals, or extreme cold temperatures.

Dragon eBikes Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) fee is $159.00. Your warranty is covered by the PDI. If you do not purchase the PDI, there is no Warranty Coverage—however, a 7-day Parts Warranty will be included. Please allow for a minimum of 72 hours for the PDI, so that test and trial runs can be conducted on the products to ensure all systems are safe and operable. We also ask that you allow at least one week for warranty and estimate examination. Repair times are variable.

Buyer’s Responsibility: Before receiving delivery of your new product, you have inspected all surfaces for any defects or damages and agree that everything is in good working order. Drivers should read and follow rules that are issued by Ministry of Transportation regarding electric bike usage.

The Warranty Program is automatically voided or cancelled if:
• Parts are replaced or if tampering is evident such as modification to the product completed by an outside party
• If the product has been in a serious accident that has affected the major components and/or the operation of the product.
• If any outstanding balances are due to Dragon E-Bikes
• If the Serial Number is erased, scratched or removed from the frame of the product or if the Serial Number does not match our records.
• If there is evidence of abuse, misuse, exposure to floods, salt and other foreign debris or chemicals and/or neglect.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability: The only warranties made by DragonEbikes are those made specifically, and in writing, in this document. We make no warranties – express or implied – as to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or otherwise. We specifically reject any and all claims for consequential damages arising from use of our products, however caused. In any event, by purchasing products or services from DragonEbikes or its resellers or service outlets you agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to DragonEbikes shall be the price of the product purchased or repaired. Further, you assume sole liability for any injury arising from operation of any products offered on this web site and you accept full responsibility for all safety warnings, instructions, and limited warranty if the product is sold, lent or otherwise transferred and will indemnify DragonEbikes its officers, agents or assignees from any claims against failure to do so. Parts replaced or repaired under this warranty are warranted only for the balance of the applicable warranty period or the balance of any applicable extended warranty period. All defective parts replaced under warranty become the property of Dragon E-Bikes. Laws vary from some state to state and province to province so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have additional specific legal rights that vary from state to state or province to province.

Process Replacement Parts: When ordering warranty parts you will be required to provide the serial number of your e-bike, the date of purchase, and may be required to return the defective part. You must remove and return the defective part(s) to our warehouse at your expense and we will send the replacement part(s) to you by Canada Post at your expense. At our option we may ask you to keep the damaged part(s) and ship your replacement parts immediately. You would be responsible for postage and handling payment by credit card before the parts are shipped. You are responsible for reassembly and testing to ensure product safety.

Dragon eBikes Repair Service
Labor and parts are free of charge only if the product is under warranty. If the warranty has expired or the part is not covered, there is a labor charge of $75 per hour plus mileage ($0.73/km) and the cost for parts.

Refund Policy
All purchases unless otherwise stated on original invoice are valid for exchange or store credit within 10 days of purchase, no full refunds will be issued. Exchange or store credit amount is at the discretion of Dragon e Bikes representative. Invoice must be present at time of exchange or return.

All items must be in the same condition as when purchased.

Shipping charges and sales tax on shipping are not refundable. Returns on several items may be subject to additional fees. PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) fees are non-refundable.
